Script Reviews:

"It's a really strong, original idea. I think, especially now, people want to see stories about more diverse points of view, and bringing attention to this young man's struggle as a young gay Muslim is specific, dramatic, and definitely going to get some attention. I also really like [Abir's] voice as a writer. It's a nice sort of dramatic-comedy mix that I find really effective. There are some laugh-out-loud moments here, but [he's] also not afraid to be really dramatic and honest, and I think that makes the script better. As a series, I think [he's] also written a pilot that shows how there could be story generated for episodes to come. The characters are memorable, and there's clear conflict that isn't going to go away soon. I think overall, this is just a really impressive piece of material. [Abir has] clear talent, and has something original and important to say. Those two things will get you far in this industry."

- Jeremy Novick (Writer, 'Queen of the South')

"This is a heartbreaking and relevant script, with strong characters and an even stronger story. Everyone serves a purpose, and the script keeps you engaged the entire way through. It has you rooting for the protagonist on every single page."

- Claire Russell (Producer, 'Nightshift' / Script Editor, 'Milly Inbetween')
